Mockingjay Book Release Party

On Monday August 23rd, DJ Jay was privileged to be a part of the newest book released from author Suzanne Collins. Many pre-production hours were spent in preparation for the unique music fare that accompanied the event. Talented young writers, artist renderings, games and a costume contest rounded out the festivities. Tribune staff Photographer Steve Johnson (and associate) took this amazing image as the pre-release party was in full swing. White Sox Lose Nail-biter In Minnesota.

My fellow White Sox fans. OMG can you believe the heartbreaker tonight? More drama then Perez Hilton's whole life has to offer. It was entertaining up until Thome crushed the winning homer in the 10th inning. Sox lose 7-6. Good game except for Delmon Young's cheap shot on A.J. who wasn't even close to blocking the plate. Stay tuned...the payback is coming.

AWOL (for awhile)
