If you can't take off of work for as many days as you'd like, consider having a mini moon and vacationing somewhere close to home for a weekend. Once your work schedule calms down or you have more annual vacation days, you can plan that eight-day dream getaway. The upside: You'll have time to decompress and settle in as newlyweds at home, making leisure time all the more relaxing! No matter what your travel plans are, give yourselves a buffer day or two upon your return, so you can wind down before dashing back to the office.

Initially the ‘bomboniere’ were of great value, and were made of expensive materials such as gold, silver, precious gems, porcelain or crystal. The contents of the ‘bombonaiere’ were also of great value, most notably sugar. At the time, sugar was a very rare substance, prized for its supposed medicinal qualities.
